Palo Santo comes from a mystical tree that grows in Ecuador and Peru.  In Spanish, the literal translation is  “Holy Wood”.   It creates a pleasant, fresh, sweet smelling smoke with hints of mint and citrus.   I keep a bowl in my living room.  Even unlit, its beautiful aroma fills up the space.  It is burned in ceremonies by Shamans in preparation for meditation a deeper spiritual connection.
